Accessibility

In general

It matters to us that everyone can use this site comfortably, including people with disabilities.

The site was built with the aim of meeting the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at level AA.

What has been done

• The whole site can be used with a keyboard alone, and every page starts with a skip-to-content link.
• Pages are built with standard headings and markup, so screen readers present them properly.
• Every photo in the galleries has a text description.
• Text colours were chosen for sufficient contrast against the background.
• The site adapts to any screen size, and the view can be enlarged without losing content.
• The films play without sound, and every film and the moving strip of photos has a pause button.
• When a device is set to reduce motion, films and animations do not start by themselves.
• The site is available in Hebrew, English, French and Russian.

What is still limited

• The apartment films have no audio description. They show the same rooms that appear, with descriptions, in the photo gallery.
• A WhatsApp enquiry opens in an outside app whose accessibility we do not control. You can also reach us by phone and by email.

Accessibility of the apartments

Netanya: the apartment is a penthouse in a residential building. The building has an elevator, which also gives access from the car park to the apartment. The master bedroom is on the second floor of the penthouse and is reached by stairs only.

Shoresh: there are steps at the entrance to the house. The house is therefore not accessible to people who use a wheelchair or who find it hard to go up and down stairs.
